We offer our clients the opportunity to spend their holidays enjoying nature and sporting activities, surrounded by the mountains of Trentino and the Garda Lake. Zoo Camping, opened in 1976 by Salvaterra family, is the ideal place to go for those who enjoy sport, fun and relaxation for their holiday! Our campsite is located just a couple of kilometres from the village Arco, in a quiet area far from traffic and totally surrounded by nature that will more than meet your expectations with a range of camping areas ranging in size from medium to big, in the sun or in the shade. Do you enjoy picnics? Then you’ve found the right place! The river Sarca runs along the whole length of the campsite: it is accesable to all ages and is an ideal place to enjoy summer bonfires or to relish a moment of relaxation, soothed by the sound of the flowing waters and the warm sunshine.
If you don’t want to spend time by the river then there is also a large swimming-pool accompanied by a large terrace to sunbathe. Families with children will find a playground only a few meters away, where young kids can play and make new friends. The pebbly beaches of Garda Lake are a stones throw away: the Bicycle is the popular mode of transport for many, and you can cycle there safely on the bike path which connects the town centre of Arco to the Beach, along the river.
The main sport practiced here is Windsurfing: the lake enjoys regular strong winds makes it a perfect training ground for both beginners and for the more advanced who wish to improve and refine their technique. Windsurf season starts in early spring and ends in late autumn.The geographical location of Zoo Camping, close to the rock faces of Mount Colodri and to other open air “training grounds” like Massone, makes it a perfect place for Free Climbing.
Arco is one of the villages with more Falesie of the area, and is one of the places in Italy most famous for this distinctive feature. The Rock Master is the biggest event of the season, a competition in which many professionals take part and challenge themselves every year.
If your passion is Mountain Biking, the area is surrounded by a variety of trails for every level. It’s also worth having a glance at the beautiful views that you can find during your Excursions. There are many sporting events dedicated to Mountain Biking, such as the “Arco Bike Nature” and the “Bike Festival Garda Trentino”, attracting thousands of visitors every year.If you want to try something more than mountain Biking, Windsurfing or Free Climbing, you can make the most of your holiday simply by going for a walk through our beautiful mountains, or try Trekking, Hiking, Nordic Walking, Kite Surfing and the and other thrilling water sports such as Canyoning and Rafting.
